Sleepy Snack Sacks Delivered! More than 17 Adat Shalom families (27 children) participated in our first event on November 16, making 100 Snack Sacks for the Stepping Stones Shelter. The Stepping Stones staff sent us a very nice thank-you note, which included the following message: “The snacks were delivered perfectly, the children enjoyed everything that was inside the bags. We have been given them out each day since they arrived and actually today was the last day which worked out perfectly for the chips! Thank you so much again for this project and I am glad to hear that people enjoyed working on it. We look forward to the cookies!” A big Thank You to the children and parents that worked together to assemble and decorate the bags. We are also very grateful to our contributors: one (anonymous) family donated all the food items, several members donated craft items, and Giant Food Bethesda Row West and Giant Food Westwood donated gift cards. Haya and Michael Laufer delivered the snacks to the shelter. About
