| Art on Display at Springvale Terrace Retirement Community for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service
On January 11, four Adat Shalom families made a large, colorful collage for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. The collage was displayed for three weeks in the lobby of the Springvale Terrace Retirement Community in Silver Spring (low- and middle-income residents).
Valentine's Day Card-making Kits Delivered to Shelter Also on Jan. 11, we assembled 24 Valentine-card-making kits that were delivered to Stepping Stones Shelter on February 8 so that the children could make handmade Valentines for their parents and loved ones. Thank You to the children
and parents that worked together to make the collage and card-making kits! |
