MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
The primary goal of the Membership Committee is to encourage the growth of the congregationšs membership. Because we are seeking new members that are informed about Reconstructionism, and eager to become active participants in a spiritual community, we offer a variety of informational and social programs to prospective members, and more in-depth programs upon joining.
Prospective members can participate in "Meet the Community" meetings, and a Fall Havdalah program. They will also have a phone relationship with member of the committee.
New Members receive orientation at a New Member brunch, and are celebrated at a festive dinner and havdalah held in their honor in the late winter. Furthermore, they will be highlighted in the Scroll, and introduced to a committee of their choice, if desired. All efforts are made to make the first year an informative, motivational and welcoming experience.
