Young Family Programs

The Young Family Programming Committee (YFPC) plans activities for Adat Shalom families with young children (up through second grade). Our goal is to help families with young children build strong attachments to Judaism, Reconstructionism, and the Adat Shalom community while having fun and making friends. Many of us show up at Adat Shalom's great weekly Tot Shabbat service (10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., every Shabbat). Summer 2010 included a June Shabbat in the Park and a Back to Shul Havdallah in August, both of them big hits with the under 8 set.
