The Gift Shop carries Israeli-made products and other Judaic items. Use
our shop for gifts for family and friends. Shop for your holiday needs and let us know
what other items you would like us to carry. Please remember that when you buy Israeli
products, you help the Israeli economy. And, when you buy from the gift shop, you support
Adat Shalom. It's a win win situation. Our prices are, in many cases, lower than other
stores and you don't pay sales tax.
During the school year the shop is open on Wednesdays from
4 - 6:30 pm and on Sundays from 11 am - 1 pm. Special hours can be arranged by sending
an e-mail.
We need to settle up by January 15, so this is your last chance to help both your wallet and Adat Shalom's by buying a 2006 Entertainment book, that $25 massive compendium of money-saving coupons for restaurants, retail, travel services, and even entertainment and two local supermarket chains.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with Entertainment books, they are a compendium of usually single use coupons. About half are for restaurants which are typically good for the cheaper of two entrees. The others are for services, merchandise, travel and entertainment. Safeway has coupons good for $5 off four times a year; Magruders has coupons good for $5 off every month. The restaurants and stores offer these in the hope of you patronizing them, of course.
