Religious Practices Committee

The Religious Practices Committee works with the clergy to ensure the smooth functioning of our Shabbat and holiday services and coordinate all religious activities. Our goal is to:

• Educate our community about religious practices)
• Examine and review policy with regard to B'nai Mitzvah and other ritual policies
• Encourage creative approaches to liturgy by clergy and lay members
• Promote lay participation in services
• Maintain our Torahs and other ritual objects
• Maintain a schedule of Divrei Chinukh, "Words of Education," by our members during services
• Coordinate the ushers' schedule
