Rene Boni On Shabbat, Rene teaches music to our students in the younger grades and leads assemblies for our older students throughout the year. Rene also teaches a Vav/Zayin (grades 6/7) class on Wednesday, and leads Tot Shabbat on Saturday mornings. A professional singer, Rene's wisdom, enthusiasm and love of Judaism are contagious!
Debbie Brodie On Wednesdays, Debbie uses her background as a special education teacher to work with individual students on their Hebrew. Many students thrive under Debbie's gifted teaching. She has the ability to teach students in a way that works for their individual style.
Debbie Kopp On Shabbat, Debbie teaches Judaic art to students in all grades. As an art therapist she understands the beauty of allowing her students to develop their skills and knowledge. She is a masterful teacher who delves into the Judaic history or theology behind each project. Debbie also teaches Hebrew to the Gimmel (grade 3) students on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Sue Marx On Shabbat, Sue is a treasured minyan (prayer service) leader. She leads three different services and weaves age-appropriate knowledge into each service. The children learn Torah and Torah trope, Haftorah, prayers and music.
David Silberman By day, David is a labor lawyer; however at Adat Shalom he is an incredibly gifted scholar and educator. David leads our middle school students in the Sunday morning davening. His goal is to teach the morning service while giving his students insight into the words of the liturgy.
