There’s so much we can draw on in times like these: classic Jewish attributes like patience (savlanut) and flexibility (g’mishut); values, like titrating the right amount of Fear & Awe (Yirah); institutions, from Shabbat and Shmita, to Pesach Sheni (the idea of celebrating key moments on a delayed schedule); and more. We’ll read some short essays, brainstorm amongst ourselves, make our own list, and deepen our own spiritual state through this challenging time.
