In preparation for part 2, we would like you to read “Characteristics of White Supremacy Culture”. This article is challenging and we believe it provides some important background information. We’d like you to think about this prior to our next meeting.  https://www.showingupforracialjustice.org/white-supremacy-culture-characteristics.html

We also would like you to read the article “From White Racist to White Anti-Racist — the life-long journey,” by Tema Okun which will be sent out to registrants. During the workshop on December 8th we will be drawing from this article as well as the book Why are all the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? by Beverly Daniel Tatum.
