April 8, 2020, 8:00 am - 9:00 am
The traditional seder morning study session which releases the “Fast of the First Born”. This year we will follow the custom of inviting all first-borns to join together for a brief study session on the morning of the first seder. This custom highlights our awareness of the 10th plague, death of the firstborn. Even as we celebrate our freedom, we acknowledge the suffering of others. The custom is for first-born children to fast on the day of the seder, and to be released from this fast (if we choose) by studying together.
