Adat Shalom has many offerings for post b-mitzvah* youth.
Adat Shalom Youth Group (ASYG) – Open to 7th to 9th graders, ASYG compliments educational offerings with fun activities centering around Jewish holidays and service opportunities.
Tikkun Ha’ir (Repairing the City) – Our annual overnight city service project to assist the homeless, build understanding of D.C. communities in need, and put action to the words Tikkun Olam.
Rosh Chodesh Group – Girls gather to explore a monthly Jewish theme and Judaism with a feminine perspective.
Becoming a Mensch – A group for post b-mitzvah masculine youth to continue Jewish learning in safe, fun and unstructured settings.
Chords of Glory – Middle and high school students with a passion for music perform throughout the metro area at senior centers, group homes, and homeless shelters. Service credits are earned for this activity.
