Shabbat

Shabbat

Saturday morning is the focal point of our communal experience.  Visitors are always welcome at Adat Shalom.  You can read our Visitor Guide here.

Alongside our youth education program, our many religious services [link to extant Saturday worship page] offer prayer and reflection, song and study and spirit, connections between Torah and contemporary realities, life-cycle celebrations, and more.  Afterward, all generations enjoy our signature, member-driven, communal oneg [link to description of oneg plus logstics page] Shabbat luncheon, and afternoon opportunities to learn and connect.

Many Friday nights have musical or themed services, often with dinner, at the synagogue or in various neighborhoods.  Torah School families enjoy Friday nights and sleepovers together (link TS services). And in-home Shabbat dinners and Havdalah gatherings unfold through our villages.
