Adat Shalom means wrestling with our liturgy and finding ways to update our Jewish heritage: kashrut leads to a chosen practice of making weekly communal meals vegetarian. Adat Shalom means organizing fundraising around an auction where members offer services to one another. Adat Shalom means reinventing our spiritual practice: celebrating a Friday night neighborhood Shabbats. I feel blessed to join our rabbis, Hazzan, lay leaders and fellow congregants in a continuing quest to build a spiritual home.
